Intelsat Delivers Intelsat Partnering with Sentech to Deliver 2010 World Cup!by Rhys MorganSpecial Events is pleased to announce Intelsat's marketing alliance with Sentech for the 2010 World Cup. The marketing synergies of the alliance will ensure high quality delivery of a global telecommunications solution. The agreement combines both companies' resources to include satellite capacity, licensing, teleports and location services.
Both companies' strengths will better support broadcasters covering this event. Intelsat will supply its expansive international knowledge and special events experience in combination with its industry leading global satellite and fiber-network. Due to the high volume of service requirements, Intelsat will apply the following policy:
No satellite space segment "inquiries" for capacity with a European uplink beam are accepted from Sunday 1 June 2008 through Monday 30 June 2008.
During this timeframe, all existing service inquiries are subject to a service challenge and must be confirmed or released on the day of notice.
An automatic inquiry removal procedure is configured into our system for all space segment and terrestrial inventory services. All inquiries pending Customer confirmation will be cancelled 72 hours prior to the start of Service. Intelsat is not obligated to communicate with Customers regarding the status of inquiries.
All confirmed status service orders are subject to 100% cancellation charges, from 1 June to 30 June 2008.

The Intelsat Video Fiber Network can now be accessed via The Switch (Los Angeles), Ascent Media London and PacTV for both Occasional Use and Full-Time services. Through these major video meet-me locations, customers can access any of our five commercial teleports and other PoPs on the Intelsat Video Fiber Network. We have also added an interconnect with RRSat's fiber network. This gives customers access to RRSat's Rheem Teleport in Israel.
