Intelsat Partnering with Sentech to Deliver 2010 World Cup!

Special Events is pleased to announce Intelsat's marketing alliance with Sentech for the 2010 World Cup. The marketing synergies of the alliance will ensure high quality delivery of a global telecommunications solution. The agreement combines both companies' resources to include satellite capacity, licensing, teleports and location services.

Both companies' strengths will better support broadcasters covering this event. Intelsat will supply its expansive international knowledge and special events experience in combination with its industry leading global satellite and fiber-network. As a South African state owned company, Sentech will contribute its substantial infrastructure and local knowledge, including domestic licensing and provisioning expertise.

Intelsat has teamed up with SISLink, the leading provider of satellite uplink services in Europe, to form a strategic alliance to launch an HD-ready automated video delivery service for satellite news gathering (SNG) users in the Continental United States.

Intelsat uPod provides the SNG market a cost-effective and flexible next generation system. Simply drive to the news site, push a button, and let the system do the rest.

The strategic alliance offers uPod, a fully integrated broadcasting solution enabling SNG operators in the U.S. to execute real-time broadcasting services more efficiently. The new service blends Intelsat's space and ground infrastructure with SISLink's uPod, system to support web-based scheduling and transmission of live standard and high-definition video, as well as voice and Internet communications using a lightweight and compact SNG antenna unit that is mounted onto an SUV or smaller vehicle, and available to transport on commercial planes. Broadcasters cover news and sports events as they are unfolding with a push of the button.

Intelsat Scores Winning Touch Down in Super Bowl XLII

Intelsat provided our Latin American customer, TV Azteca Mexico, with production and Satellite News Gathering (SNG) services from Arizona the week prior to the Super Bowl XLII. We provided coverage from various landmarks in the Phoenix, Tempe and Glendale areas as well as the complete transmission and personalized production of Super Bowl XLII out of the University of Phoenix Stadium on 3 February 2008.

"The Coverage provided to us by Intelsat the week prior to and during the actual Superbowl XLII out of Arizona was first rate. The video and audio qualities were excellent and we are very happy with the finished product. Super Bowl was again a successful event for TV Azteca!"

Intelsat Rate Card

Facilities include:

• Play-out, Beat SP, SX, DigiBeta, IMX in PAL and NTSC
• Live shot positions (PAL)
• Satellite & fiber transmission services and space segment
• For other tape formats customer should bring their camera and the associated cables

Due to the high volume of service requirements, Intelsat will apply the following policy:

No satellite space segment "inquiries" for capacity with a European uplink beam are accepted from Sunday 1 June 2008 through Monday 30 June 2008.

During this timeframe, all existing service inquiries are subject to a service challenge and must be confirmed or released on the day of notice.

An automatic inquiry removal procedure is configured into our system for all space segment and terrestrial inventory services. All inquiries pending Customer confirmation will be cancelled 72 hours prior to the start of Service. Intelsat is not obligated to communicate with Customers regarding the status of inquiries.

All confirmed status service orders are subject to 100% cancellation charges, from 1 June to 30 June 2008.

WebScheduler

WebScheduler is a web-based scheduling tool for Intelsat Occasional-Use Video Services (OVS) Customers. It allows OVS customers to book space segment online anytime, anywhere without having to make a phone call to Intelsat.

• Check space segment availability
• Pencil book (inquire) single or recurring services
• Confirm, cancel or release work orders (charges may apply for cancellations)
• Review and/or edit existing work orders
• Receive e-mail copies of work orders (pdf)

Upgrades to the Video Fiber Network

The Intelsat Video Fiber Network can now be accessed via The Switch (Los Angeles), Ascent Media London and PacTV for both Occasional Use and Full-Time services. Through these major video meet-me locations, customers can access any of our five commercial teleports and other PoPs on the Intelsat Video Fiber Network. We have also added an interconnect with RRSat's fiber network. This gives customers access to RRSat's Rheem Teleport in Israel.
